6. Managing Your Data & Settings

Snooz gives you full control over your data and experience. Access these options by clicking the Settings gear icon in the header of the main dashboard.

Key Settings

• Dark Mode: Instantly switch between light and dark themes for comfortable viewing, day or night. Your preference is saved automatically.
• Encrypt Data: For enhanced security, you can choose to encrypt your backups with a password. This ensures that only you can access your saved data when restoring it on a new device.
• Export Bookmarks: Create a full backup of your Snooz collection at any time. This downloads a single, secure file containing all your folders and bookmarks, which you can store safely.
• Import Bookmarks: Use a previously exported file to bring your collection into a new browser or device.
• Restore Last Backup: Snooz automatically creates backups for you. This option lets you easily revert to a recent version of your collection if you ever make a mistake.
• Keyboard Shortcuts: View a list of available keyboard shortcuts to make your workflow even faster.

Your data is always stored locally on your device, and these tools give you the power to manage it exactly how you want.
